SWIM TEAM MEETS 

2025 Meet Schedule

    • All dual meets have a 4:00 pm warm-up time and a 5:00 start time. Meets are typically held on Tuesday evenings. 

      Tuesday, June 17th - BW vs. Mar vs. CRCC @ BWSRC (Rain Date: Thursday, June 19th)

      Tuesday, June 24th - BW vs. Mar vs. Elm @ Elmcrest Country Club (Rain Date: Thursday, June 26th)

      Tuesday, July 1st - BW vs YMCA @ BWSRC (Rain Date: Wednesday, July 2nd)

      Tuesday, July 8th - BW vs. CRCC @ Cedar Rapids Country Club (Rain Date: Thursday, July 10th)

      Tuesday, July 15th - All League Fun Night at Marion Municipal Pool 7:15 pm - 9:15 pm

      Saturday, July 19th - City Meet @ Camp Tanager; One Session; Time TBD


 *Swimmers need to arrive by 4:00 pm for warm-ups for all 5:00 pm meets.

*Pool closes at 3:00 pm on home meet days for set up.

6:45 am-7:45 am Advanced Practice - Advanced Swimmers Ages 11-17


7:45 am-8:45 am Intermediate Practice - Intermediate Swimmers Ages 9-12


8:45 am-9:30 am Beginner Practice - Beginner Swimmers Ages 6-10

    Registration is closed

    Bowman Woods Barracuda Swim Team is open to the public and BWSRC members.  The cost to join is $110 per swimmer with an additional online processing fee. This includes all coaching, entry fees, etc. More details can be found on the website. Swim Meet schedules are still being determined and will be published at a later date. The season will start on June 6th and end on approximately July 19th. 

    The first week of practice will be Thursday, and Friday.  After that, all practices will be Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Practice time 6:45- 9:30 am.  

    Age Groups:

    • 11-17 years (6:45-7:45 am)
    • 9-12 years (7:45-8:45 am)
    • 6-10 years (8:45-9:30 am)

    Swim Team cost is $110 with additional online processing fee.  Online only payment. Payment must be received within 15 minutes of registering or result in cancellation.

    Swim Team is open to both members and the public at Bowman Woods Pool.
